Relationship Counselling

A relationship that’s not running smoothly can cause havoc in your life, can’t it? It may be that you are only experiencing a minor difficulty, or may be it’s something more serious. But because of it, perhaps you find that you’re not sleeping so well, working so well, eating as well, or even playing as well. In fact, it’s got right under your skin…which is where relationship counselling comes in.

Because it’s worth sorting out, because a fulfilling relationship – whether it is with a life partner, or simply a friend – is one of life’s wonders, don’t you think? Often all it takes is setting some time aside to talk things through openly and honestly, to make a plan of agreed changes together.

But sometimes it takes a little bit more than that. You may find it helpful to include in your discussions a relationship counsellor who has some distance from the issues at hand. After all, it can be difficult to see the picture when you’re in the frame.

So, whatever the status of your relationship, and whatever your sexual orientation, it may be that relationship counselling can be of help. If you would like to enjoy a more satisfying relationship, contact Sarah. She can help you gain greater understanding of yourself and your partner so that you can:

Communicate more effectively
Get your own and your partners’ needs met
Find greater stability within the relationship
Find more joy within the relationship

And we all know that relationships transform over time. If you feel that you now need to find effective ways of altering or ending a relationship, then Sarah can help you do this in a way that aims to safeguard respect and trust between you and your partner, and to move towards the mutual meeting of needs.

Even when a relationship ends, it will still continue to influence you, and so it is vitally important that you resolve any painful issues associated with it, so that you can move forwards into a new and satisfying relationship as and when you may wish to do that.

Please do get in touch with Sarah if you would like to book an appointment or hear more about her counselling in Guildford, Farnham, and Haslemere. “I kept having the same problems with relationships over and over again. Working with Sarah, I realised how my childhood experiences were shaping my adult approach to love. Together we came up with strategies to change my beliefs and habits. I’ve had to put the work in, but it’s really paying off, and it’s turned my current relationship around.”
